Every piece in these scenes is ours to hire: geodesic domes, hundreds of handwoven lanterns, Bali cane lounges, a hand-painted bar, wardrobes painted by Only Mpofu, children's sets and 50 bamboo loungers. We deliver, set up and collect.
Wedding · Winelands vineyardA 6 m dome between the vines at dusk as the couple's lounge: tall arch-back chairs, a cane lounge and a lantern ceiling.
Wedding · Garden marqueeSix cane children's sets as the kids' tables for twelve, little lanterns above and the painted Simba wardrobe full of dress-up clothes.
Wedding · Atlantic beachA 6 m dome on its deck above the beach, a cane lounge under the driftwood chandelier and loungers on the sand for the guests.
Party or launch · Sea-view terraceThe 3.8 m hand-painted bar along the terrace wall, the bubble lounge in front and the old-door chandelier above.
Wedding or party corner · Wine-farm barnTwo wardrobes painted by Only Mpofu side by side: the backdrop every guest wants a photo in front of.
Birthday or retreat · Cederberg rocksTwo domes glowing among red rocks under the Milky Way, a lounge in each.
Rattan gourds and acorns, water-hyacinth beehives and bells, airy bamboo lanterns: several hundred of each. One Lantern Ceiling of 25 pendants warms a dome; a few hundred turn a whole marquee into a ceiling of light. We hang them and take them down.
With 6 m domeOur signature setup: a 6 m dome with a Bali cane lounge inside and a ceiling of rattan lanterns glowing overhead.
With 5 m domeThe 5 m dome set for a private dinner: a tree-root glass table for four under a sculpted wood pendant.
3 domesAll three domes as one camp: a lantern lounge, a dinner dome and a bar dome, with a hand-painted sleeper-wood bar and loungers on the deck.
A colourful Bali lounge for eight, with a reclaimed-root coffee table, a branch floor lamp and two tall painted floor vessels.
A 3.8 m sleeper-wood bar hand-painted by Only Mpofu with musicians, dancers and an African sunset, complete with its overhead frame and foot rail. It turns a terrace, marquee or dome deck into a proper bar.
Handmade cane children's sets with petal, fan and three-leaf backs, ten of each: every set is two child-size chairs and a low round table, so we can seat up to sixty children. Add the painted Simba wardrobe for the dress-up box. Hire them for a kids' corner at a wedding, a birthday party for thirty or a den in the dome.
13 hand-painted wardrobes, cupboards, dressers and chests: a lion portrait, flamingos in a garden, a Zulu heritage scene, a Tree of Life and more. Hire them as statement pieces for shoots, show houses and styled events.
